How much does the childcare cost?
If you qualify under the Childcare Act, the government helps pay for childcare. You can easily calculate your personal net costs (after receiving childcare allowance) with the calculator on our website.
What do I pay if I have a contract with a social-medical indication (SMI)?
If you live in Eindhoven and/or use childcare in Eindhoven based on SMI, you pay the difference between the government standard and Korein’s rate. You will only receive an invoice for this personal contribution: the invoice up to the national standard is paid by the municipality.
The number of SMI hours you receive depends on the situation of your family. Do you have questions about this? Please do not hesitate to contact us at info@korein.nl or by telephone on 040 - 294 89 89.
Why is the hourly rate of a 40-week package higher than a 52-week package?
The costs of a childcare place are divided over the number of weeks of the relevant package. Consequently, the hourly rate of a 40-week package is higher than that of a 52-week package. The gross costs of a 40-week package is still lower than a 52-week package, because the number of hours you purchase is lower.
Whether it is beneficial for you to switch to another package depends on your childcare needs and whether you are entitled to any childcare allowance. You can calculate your personal net and gross costs using this Calculator.
