Our vision of child development.
Children develop best when they feel good, and contributing to this is our most important task. Self-confidence is the most beautiful thing we can give children. We do this by creating a warm atmosphere where every child can be themselves, and by stimulating their curiosity in an environment that challenges them. We offer your child the space to figure things out independently and to take their own journey of discovery. To climb and leap and skip. To take initiative and laugh together. To fall every once in a while and get back up. And most of all, to not always colour inside the lines. Because we believe these are the things that get the most out of your child.

Our vision on child development.
With us, children feel seen and heard. We like to get to know them in depth. We are genuinely curious and empathetic. We want to know what motivates children. What is on their mind? How do we respond to their needs, level and experience?
We get to know the children by closely watching and listening to them. Does the child feel good (well-being)? With high engagement? These are the factors that matter. The answers give us immediate feedback on our effort and interaction with the children. Are we doing the right things? We see it immediately: well-being and engagement are the reference points. Both for an individual child and for the group.
We encourage children's well-being and engagement on a daily basis by applying four pillars:
Co-parenting: raising the children is something we do together.
In our book, co-parenting means working together with the parents to raise the children, with each other as professionals, and in collaboration with other organisations. Because it is wonderful for every child if adults work well together. Together, we teach children to stand on their own two feet in the world, to be part of it. Respecting themselves and others.
In a rich and challenging environment.
A rich, challenging environment is a prerequisite for ensuring children engage in activities, resulting in their development. The space encourages exploring, probing, discovery, playing, romping, discussion and expression in many forms. It is an adventurous place where they always have something to explore and experience.
With room for initiative.
Children are given the space to take initiative, because that is how we best respond to how they learn and develop. Because from birth, children are naturally inclined to explore. They are given the room and opportunity to try things out, they are encouraged to practice. Falling and getting up is part of the job.
Always in dialogue.
